During Apprenticeship Week, we were pleased to welcome Jane Hutt, Cabinet Secretary for Social Justice, Trefnydd and Chief Whip, to GAVO, where we had the opportunity to showcase our commitment to training and development in the third sector.

Jane met with some of our GAVO apprentices, Bethan Crowley, Marina Whitnell and Sally Morris, highlighting the vital role apprenticeships play in building a skilled and sustainable workforce.

We discussed our ambition to be a leading organisation in driving forward training opportunities within the sector.

ACT Training, who helped organise the visit, also shared their dedication to supporting apprenticeships across Wales.

The meeting provided a valuable space to explore wider sector commitments, and it was an extremely positive and productive discussion.
