Changes to the Be Active Wales Fund

The way you apply for National Lottery funding through the Be Active Wales Fund has changed.
Instead of applying all year-round, you will be able to apply during specific windows to make sure that all applicants are given the highest standards of customer service.
Window one has opened today, so your club can apply for grant funding for on-field improvements such as equipment, coaching courses, venue hire and more to help you get more people playing.
There will be three windows of opportunity to apply this year:
Window 1: 9am Wednesday 2 April – 4pm Wednesday 4 June 2025
Window 2: 9am Wednesday 9 July 4pm Wednesday 17 September 2025
Window 3: 9am Wednesday 5 November 2025 – 4pm Wednesday 14 January 2026
Please note that you can only have one successful application across the three windows. You must submit your Expression of Interest at least one week before the closing date to ensure you have enough time to submit your full application.
